Meet Our Speech Therapist
Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Iowa, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree earned at Miami University. Her professional experience includes working as a pediatric speech therapist in various settings, including clinics, schools, and teletherapy.
Sarah's dedication to creating an enjoyable speech experience for children and her commitment to educating caregivers are central to every interaction she has with families. She possesses expertise in a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation and phonological issues, language delays, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), stuttering, and more. She is not merely a speech therapist; she serves as a collaborative partner in your child's quest for improved communication skills.

Initial Phone Consultation
A complimentary, 15-minute conversation where we discuss your speech and communication goals and concerns. We'll get to know you better, explain our services, and answer any initial questions you may have.
Individual Speech Sessions
These sessions are tailored to your specific speech and communication challenges while providing a focused and supportive environment for improvement. We use evidence-based techniques to address articulation, language, fluency, AAC, memory, executive functioning, early intervention, and more.
Group Therapy
Group therapy sessions bring together individuals with similar speech, language, and social skills concerns to practice communication skills in a supportive, social setting.
These collaborative meetings are designed to discuss how to best support speech/language development for all children. We provide strategies and exercises and continued support for use with groups of children focusing on
language development, scaffolding, sensory needs, and acceptance.
Company Consultation/Education
This process involves various standardized tests, informal observations, and discussions to identify your child’s specific speech strengths and areas needing improvement. This evaluation serves as the foundation for creating a customized therapy plan that targets their unique needs.
Initial Evaluation
These collaborative meetings are designed to discuss your child's progress, set goals, and provide strategies and exercises for continued support at home. It's an opportunity for parents to actively participate in their child's speech development journey.

We recognize the demands of a busy life. Our aim is to assist you and address your child's speech requirements within the context of your daily surroundings. We are happy to offer services where you are. We will come into your house, daycare, or any community location.

If you notice any developmental delays or concerns in your child’s speech or language skills, it is advisable to seek an evaluation as early as possible.
How long are therapy sessions, and how often will my child need therapy?
The duration and frequency of sessions depend on a child’s specific needs and treatment plan created by the therapist following the initial evaluation.
How long will my child need therapy?
The length of therapy varies child to child. We regularly assess progress and adjust the child’s treatment plan accordingly.
Are therapy services covered by insurance?
At this time, we are not in network with any insurances. Services can be paided for via credit, debit, HSA or FSA. Superbills can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
What can I expect during my child’s first therapy session?
An initial evaluation will be completed to assess your child’s strengths and areas of concern. A case history will be taken to get a complete picture of the child. The therapist will conclude the visit with a discussion results, collaboration on goals, and treatment plan.
